About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Identification:
Actively search for new models through various channels, including social media, events, public spaces, and referrals.
Attend fashion shows, industry events, and other gatherings to scout for potential models.
Identify and approach individuals who meet the agency’s criteria for modeling.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Approach and engage with potential models, explaining the opportunities and benefits of joining the agency.
Conduct preliminary assessments of candidates, including evaluating their physical attributes, camera presence, and potential for different types of modeling work.
Work closely with the agency’s team to facilitate the onboarding process for new models, including setting up initial test shoots and portfolio development.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, such as photographers, fashion designers, and casting agents, to stay updated on industry trends and opportunities.
Develop and maintain a network of contacts who can refer potential models to the agency.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and emerging markets to identify the types of models that are in demand.
Provide insights and recommendations to the agency on the types of models to recruit based on market demand.
Social Media and Online Scouting:
Utilize social media platforms to identify and connect with potential models.
Monitor and engage with relevant online communities and hashtags to discover new talent.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of scouting activities, including potential candidates and their contact information.
Regularly report on scouting activities and the status of recruited models to the Head of Talent or Agency Director.
